In the Ghost Whisperer season 5 dvd, Melinda's new son and the mysterious shadows that seem to control the evil surrounding Melinda's life. On the last episode that aired on Friday, we saw Melinda quickly losing her mind and things getting worse and worse. We learn it is all because of the shadows at the end.

The "Melinda is not here" line we've seen in the teasers had me expect an action packed episode. Yes, there was action but it fell flat due to how quickly the Shinies destroyed the Shadows. The latter have been a great foe all season long.

I am sad to hear the news of Ghost Whisperer's cancellation! It had good ratings, and often won its time slot. The news of its end is definitely a shock! So far, ABC is still trying to figure out its plan of action for the show, but we’re glad it has been picked up regardless of what happens! What about you?

ABC’s entertainment president, Stephen McPherson, has said that he’d be interested in picking up Ghost Whisperer if the series became available. ABC scheduler Jeff Bader told Variety today that they’ve toyed with the idea.

we have seen everything and anything happen to her. Now, we’re led to believe that the five year jump in her life holds no interesting stories? She had a friend die, plane crash, evil brother, ghosts trying to killer her.
