The show seems a little scattered sometimes and a little to much adult content that doesn't seem needed. I expect the new vampires in the next season.
There has been a significant amount of wonderful character development throughout this season, but the lack of focus in the storytelling takes away from its importance. It just goes to show how thick the characters have been made to justify moments of action.
