If you don't have any of the DVD sets, I'd start with this one. There's a lot more movie references, etc here. It's just funnier all around.
I don't think the show is funny. animation, a plot, and dialogue. There was absolutely NO humor - nothing even close.
I think it's time to end the show, it's going for a long time and though the early seasons are funny, the last seasons are less funnier than before and just repeat!
In my mind, the Simpsons is one of the best, funniest, and coolest animated show ever made. I have a big fan of Simpsons for many years and I own the last season finally. It's worth keeping one set!
