Lost is an American live-action television series. Lost Seasons 1-6 DVD with a horrific plane crash leaves 48 passengers alive, and stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific. The survivors include doctor Jack, now freed prisoner Kate, one hit wonder rock star Charlie, Iraqi military vet Sayid, and a mysterious man named Locke. For a while their goal is simple survival, but they soon realize that it was far more than mere chance that brought them together, and each of them has a purpose that will help them unlock the island's secrets.

 

In the first of Lost Seasons 1-6 DVD, Jack was the only doctor in the ER, had two crises, and made a choice to save one. Extremely interesting that in yet another bizarre character connection, the other accident victim was Adam Rutherford, age 57. He must have been Shannon's father, because hey, there are no coincidences on Lost. Jack's eye closing at the end made me think that maybe the Island was a metaphor for life's journey. We're born -- eye open -- we struggle through our lives and hopefully learn and grow, and... in the end, we're right back where we started?   The show is very mysterious not only from the title but also the plot on an island. it's just superb in every possible way.

  The show is a classic. Viewers can argue between now and forever what the island really means. Much of the episode was superb, especially the existential badminton played out between the characters' states of consciousness on the mainland and back on the island.

  It's hard to imagine living in the solitary island and the show is not about how to escape from the island but also exploring the darkness of human nature. It's really a realistic and good show. Love it!
