Law and Order Special Victims Unit Seasons 1-12 DVD Plot
Law and Order Special Victims Unit premiered on September 22, 2010 on NBC and concluded on May 18, 2011. The timeslot was moved from 10 p.m. (ET) to 9 p.m. (ET) for the NBC broadcast in 2010. For the first time since the series premiered the new season started off with a two-part premiere.
Law and Order Special Victims Unit DVD 1-12 delves into the dark side of the New York underworld as the detectives of a new elite force, the Special Victims Unit, investigate and prosecute various sexually oriented crimes, while trying to balance the effects of the investigation on their own lives. This is the BEST show! Mariska Hargitay (Detective Olivia Benson) and Christopher Meloni (Detective Elliot Stabler) are great for the 2 parts and work so well together. The cases are based on real cases and if I didn't know they are all actors i'd say it IS real.

Law and Order Special Victims Unit Seasons 1-12 DVD Reviews
This show never gets boring and its stories are very interesting and shocking. The story line is true to life, its also very current with the world. Highly recommended.
The characters are fantastic, each with stories from there past and problems with their families and personal lives that sometimes interferes with their investigations.
I was moved by the ending and how Stephanie left the show. Although I predicted how her character would be written off, I still thought it was well written.
Different crime show, L&O: SVU loves to find new kinkiness to exploit, the season dealt with a plethora of sex abuses including rape, incest, child abuse and others.
In fact, the detectives are not very funny in the show. It focuses almost entirely on the detectives, whose investigations plod on so methodically that even the "shocking" turns aren't nearly as unexpected as they're supposed to be.
